On The Move

October 2025

Spotted: A very chic room. Retro, yet modern, that has one contemplating whether they will take theirs shaken or stirred!
The picture should really have been from my time at the Laver Cup, but unless you’re sitting courtside capturing a great shot during a match = impossible! Laver Cup itself was amazing. Having lived in NYC, I attended the US Open most years, but over the time, at least for me, it became more corporate and more of a cultural “scene” than a true tennis event. At times, it felt like there was more buzz around the signature melon-ball cocktail than the actual ball being hit.

Laver Cup was the complete opposite. It brought out true tennis fans. I took my mom, who fl ew in from Michigan for her birthday, and we celebrated with 3 straight days of tennis. The Chase Center was packed, the competition was serious, but the team format allowed players’ personalities to shine. It was a fantastic event start to fi nish. It was also very cool to see Andre Agassi back around tennis again. And, judging by the cheers when his name was called, many shared that sentiment.

Now onto real estate! The start of September brought a nice pop of new listings, but that momentum dropped off quickly. Still, the right property, priced correctly, moves fast, often with multiple offers. Inventory is out there, and some great properties I might add, that I am surprised haven’t found buyers yet. I am working with a couple clients now that aren’t fi xed on one location, so it’s been energizing to tour across Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Woodside in search of the one that makes them say, “Yes!” I’m also collaborating with a developer on sourcing off-market opportunities through high-touch, data-driven outreach which has been an exciting, strategic exercise… we shall see what this effort may bring in the coming months, fi ngers crossed!

Truth? It is unclear. In theory, mortgage lenders could pass any savings from this move along to borrowers.

Understanding your credit score, how it is calculated & how those that provide these scores are evolving is something we should all be paying attention to given the impact these scores have on our financial lives.
